Recommended steps for moving from 1-4 to 1-5
On a day and at a time you normally do not receive many responses (maybe sat or sun)...
- Open your current survey templates in new tabs
- Go to Settings and change to 1-5.
- Go back to the survey templates screen and add new templates that use 1-5. Because you have your old templates open, you can easily copy and paste between the two the content you want to keep.
- Send yourself a test survey for each of the new templates you've created (you can add yourself as a client if you're not already). I recommend sending yourself a test survey after every template change anyway.
- Go to the Surveys screen and filter by date and score. You will want to move your 4s to 5s and then your 3s to 4s. The order is very important because if you accidentally move your 3s to 4s first, you will have to manually move your 4s to 5s one by one. I recommend you select a small sample size and perform the action a couple of times to get comfortable with it. Then you can start with your first month of surveys, then the next month. Once you're comfortable you can do a whole quarter at a time.
- Monitor your account for the next few days and update any individual surveys that come in from the old 4 star templates. Since the emails are already in the clients' inboxes, they will still be responding on a 1-4 scale. All you have to do for those surveys is open them and change the score. I recommend adding a QA commend for those surveys.
